Cavalry is encouraged as this was the last Confederate Raid on the W&A Rail Road at Tunnel Hill!
Please Note Confederate Infantry and Cavalry Units are required to be able to Galvanize for 1 Battle unless prearranged for the 150th Anniversary Battle. Full sized guns will be placed and should not be required to be moved except following discussion with the Battle Coordinator.

The Period Civilian Camp will be adjacent to the Sutlery Area. This will allow access when the previous areas have required us to move you all to the far side of the Battlefield due to wet ground in front of the Austin House.
PLEASE NOTE NO MODERN ANACHRONISISMS TO BE VISIBLE IN THIS CAMP, ALL PARTICIPANTS HERE TO REMAIN IN PERIOD ATTIRE.
YOU ARE THE FIRST THING TO BE SEEN BY THE SPECTATORS WHEN THEY ARRIVE AND THE LAST THING THEY SEE AS THEY LEAVE!

Through your efforts as reenactors here at the Battle of Tunnel Hill, the Battle Site has become The Holcomb Family Heritage Park, owned by the Citizens of Whitfield County, Ga. through the vast efforts of Mr. Mike Babb, former County Commission Chairman, The Holcomb Family in memory of Mr. Kenneth and Mrs. Barbara Holcomb, Bob Ault President and the Past Presidents of the Tunnel Hill Historical Foundation (Mr. Rial Sloan, Mr. Bob Ault, Mr. Boyd Whitfield, Mrs. Janet Cochran, to name but a few of the Presidents and room unfortunately doesn't permit the addition of the hard working members, Mr. Joe Don Holland, Mrs. Mary Holland, Mr.Bradley Putnam, Mr. Hub Griffin, Mayor Kenny Gowen, Chief of Police Trey Rider, Ann Kuzniac, Steve Hall, Mr. Marvin Sowder and so many more hard working dedicated Foundation members, Sandra Sumner, The Dalton Convention and Tourism Bureau, and the many members of the 35th Tennessee who broke their backs to make this happen!, just for you.
